Community Steward Application

Lonewolf District is a community-based company focused on spiritual healing and energy work. Our mission is to bring humanity back to humanity by helping to combat the loneliness epidemic. Lonewolf District is a Queer Black woman owned small business located in Baltimore, Maryland. We offer services such as Reiki sessions, Tarot readings, community events, and more.

We are seeking a grounded, organized, and creative Community Steward to support our operations and community-building efforts. This role blends administrative excellence with creative marketing and genuine community engagement.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with the founder to co-create a weekly and monthly content strategy for Instagram, TikTok, and community newsletters

  2. Maintain and implement social media strategy

  3. Draft and schedule social media content

  4. Support the creation, development, and distribution of marketing and media materials

  5. Proofread and edit marketing content to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy

  6. Track social media metrics and growth

  7. Help design and create graphics and workbooks

  8. Join live check in calls once a week

  9. Maintain and sustain a genuine and authentic presence in the Lonewolf community mobile app

  10. Conduct local market and event research

Candidate Must:

  • Be organized and able to complete tasks on time

  • Have a strong work ethic and hold themselves to a high level of integrity

  • Feel connected to the overall mission and legacy of Lonewolf District

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive apps

  • Know the basics of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Canva, Mailchimp, and Eventbrite social platforms

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Have a genuine interest towards spirituality and spiritual wellness

  • Have the time and mental capacity to commit to up to 10 hours of work per week

  • Be comfortable working independently and be efficient in managing their own time

  • Have the ability and desire to be collaborative and creative with a positive growth mindset

Preferred but not required:

  • Have previous experience with video editing and short-form video content

  • Have previous experience with marketing and communications

  • Be familiar with SEO principles and best practices

  • Use Apple products

  • Have a dedicated spiritual or self-care personal practice

  • Live in or around Baltimore, Maryland (this position can be fully remote)

Compensation:

$20 per hour; up to 10 hours per week

September 2025
